Fill in the Top Employer 2024 survey and leave your email at the end of the survey if you would like to participate in the prize draw. We will be drawing the prize between all respondents to the survey on 11.01.2024.
1. The survey will be conducted in the CV-Online Estonia (CV.ee) survey environment.
2. The data collection period starts on 06.12.2023.
3. The survey will include three compulsory questions; compulsory demographic questions; sample questions showing the names of employers in different business sectors.
4. In order to participate in the €750 prize draw, survey participants must answer all the questions of the Top Employer survey and confirm their e-mail address by clicking on the button “I wish to be entered in the draw” at the end of the survey.
5. The survey can only be entered once.
6. The draw will take place on 11.01.2024. The organizer will send an e-mail to the winner within two days after the draw.
7. The results of the draw will be published on www.topemployer.ee, where the winner’s e-mail address will be partially written, for example, Axxx.xxa@inbox.ee. The draw will take place on 11.01.2024
8. The winner must respond to the letter sent by the organizer within one month.
9. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide correct information when registering.
10. By completing the survey, the respondent confirms that he/she is voluntarily taking part in completing the survey questionnaire.
11. All responses received from the survey participant will be confidential and will be published in an aggregated and summarised form.
12. By registering their data, the participant agrees to the process of data collection and storage for the entire duration of the survey period, as well as to the retention of the data in the organizer’s database for as long as provided by the Data Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia.
13. By registering, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agrees to the terms and conditions of the survey.
The survey will be carried out using a qualitative method in an online environment in Estonian, English, and Russian. The main focus of the survey is to find out who are the most attractive and popular employers in Estonia that people want to work for. In addition, it will explore who are the Top Employers in different business sectors. The Top Employers will be determined by a majority of votes.
All participants in the survey are asked to name the first employer that comes to mind when using the Top Employer principles. The Top Employers will be determined by the number of votes collected. The question is mandatory for all respondents. Respondents will be asked additional questions about the following business sectors: manufacturing, IT and telecoms, public sector, finance, retail, transport, and logistics and services.
Respondents can add employers to the Top Employers list themselves, regardless of the sector in which the organization operates, the number of employees, or any other criteria. The main principle is the “top of mind” principle, i.e. whatever comes to mind first. When answering the questions, the survey environment provides a ready-made drop-down menu of organizations, but respondents have the option to write down their own choice if it is not found in the drop-down menu.
Companies already in the pre-menu have been selected on the basis of the following criteria: companies with at least 25 employees based on the 3rd quarterly EMTAK tax report of 2023 (up to TOP 500)*; the main field of activity of the organizations matches those proposed in the survey. The structure of the company must match both criteria (25 employees, sector of activity).
The pre-selection list presents companies in all categories on the basis of the above criteria.
